The SSP is open to masters and doctoral students who would like to conduct their research in a university or research institution in Taiwan. This encompasses the fields of (1) Natural Sciences, (2) Life Sciences, (3) Engineering and (4) Chemistry.
Applicants for SSP should look for a Taiwanese professor who will serve as their host/adviser preferably one with an existing project being funded by the NSC. This is to facilitate funding and assurance of financial support for the duration of research.
