The DOST is calling for mutually beneficial collaborative project proposals under the fields of (1) Genomics, Nanotechnology, and Biotechnology in application to Agriculture and Health, (2) Climate Change, Environment, Geosciences/Geohazards and Tectonics and (3) Use of Sensors towards “Smart Cities” for implementation in the 3rd Quarter of 2013.

It is necessary, however, that proponents coordinate with their counterpart/collaborator in Taipei with whom they will work with on the project. As a requirement, proposals must be submitted to DOST while Taiwanese counterpart must submit the same proposal to National Science Council (NSC) for separate review and evaluation. Only projects approved by both sides will be implemented under this cooperation scheme.

**Deadline for both the MECO-TECO JRP and SSP is on 30 March 2013 to be sent to the International Technology Cooperation Unit (ITCU), Room 301, 3rd floor, DOST building, Gen. Santos Avenue, Bicutan, Taguig City or through e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
