Call for Proposals on Joint Science and Technology Research Program 2022
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), in partnership with the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT-Korea), is pleased to inform you that the Call for Proposals on Joint Science & Technology Research Program between Philippines and Korea has been extended until July 22nd.
As an outcome of the recently held Philippines-Korea Joint Science and Technology Committee (JSTC) last 28 April 2022, the program aims to promote international research interaction and exchange of both countries on the following priority fields:
- Smart Agriculture
- Smart Vertical Farming
- Smart indoor farming
- Oceanography and Climate Change
- Rapid intensification on tropical cyclones
Joint research projects should be planned for a three-year duration which shall receive up to USD96,000 or equivalent to Php5,000,000.00 each project to support its Filipino researchers. The Filipino applicants/researchers must have identified at least one foreign partner from a scientifically/technically recognized institution in Korea. The researchers must be experts in the relevant research fields cited above.
Enclosed, for reference, is a copy of the guidelines of the Call reflecting the timeline, funding, contact points, among others.
Interested researchers/participants must register and create an account first before they can submit the proposal thru the DPMIS Portal: https://dpmis.dost.gov.ph/index.php.
