The Department of Science and Technology (DOST-Philippines) and the Natural Environment Research Council part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI-NERC) will be co-hosting a webinar on 19 October 2021 (3:00PM, Manila Time ǀ 8:00AM, London Time) as one of the preliminary activities of the UK’s Presidency of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow in November 2021.

Philippines, as one their COP26 delivery partners for climate adaptation and resilience, will co-sponsor a webinar with the theme “Building Science-based Climate Change Adaptive and Disaster Resilient Nation”. The webinar will showcase research from the UK and Philippines relevant to the theme which will bring together partners from both countries, researchers, policymakers to support solution-driven discussions.
