The Department of Science and Technology – Central Office (DOST-CO) is in need of qualified applicants to fill up the position of Administrative Assistant III (Secretary II) / SG-9 - OSEC-DOSTB-ADAS3-5-2021 under the Internal Audit Service - Office of the Director. Applicants must meet the following requirements of the position:

Job Description | : |
1. Handles all office communications (emails, phone calls, messages, etc.), and maintains hard copies and e-records of incoming and outgoing documents and outputs; 3. Prepares monitoring and tracking reports on DOST-IAS actions on incoming assignments and requests coming from the DOST Management; 4. Prepares/encodes reports, draft letters/correspondences, and necessary data/information; 5. Manages meeting schedules, appointments, and travels of the IAS Director; 6. Assists in setting up and organizing audit-related meetings and drafting necessary correspondences to ensure successful audit team meetings; entry and exit conferences; effective monitoring of completed audits; effective benchmarking activities, DOST-IAS-initiated training/meetings, planning workshops, and other activities; 7. Provides assistance in preparing reports on the results of the Internal Audit Findings and Recommendations for submission to the Office of the Secretary; 8. Attends to office chores and needs, i.e. request for supplies and inventory of supplies and PPEs, request for maintenance, etc. 9. Provides technical assistance and other services whenever needed and performs tasks that may be assigned at a time and schedule to be agreed upon with the immediate supervisor. |

Preferred qualifications: Experience: One (1) year in position/s involving management of office records, meeting schedules, appointments, and other related tasks Training: At least 4 hours of training in one or a combination of the following: Records Management, Technical Writing, Office Management, ISO Management Systems, and other related disciplines |
