At least 14 unique animals found in Siargao islands take spotlight in a three-day webinar for kids during the National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) celebration.
In the webinar entitled, "Worth More than Gold: Siargao's Biodiversity", these animals have shown that the country's surfing capital is more than Cloud 9 waves, white-sand beaches, Sugba Lagoon, and Magpupungko Rock Pools.

Cool ride with the Hybrid Electric Road Train goes to Ilagan City

The Hybrid Electric Road Train of the Department of Science and Technology.
The Hybrid Electric Road Train (HERT) will soon be rolling up north as the coolest ride up north as the Local Government of Ilagan City, Isabela is now finalizing its agreement with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to adopt this mass transportation technology developed by local engineers.

Bulacan State University (BulSU) president, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon confirmed that they plan to tap the local farmers to supply the raw materials need for the production of the emergency/disaster food in the DOST’s Regional Food Innovation Center (RFIC) in Central Luzon.

DOST-STII receives two Grand Starex from Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc to boost DOSTv broadcast operations and services

The Science and Technology Information Institute (STII), the information and marketing arm of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) received two Grand Starex 2.5 CRDi GLS 5AT from Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. as donations to be used for the operations of the institute’s official broadcast channel, DOSTv.
The formal turnover ceremony was held on 24 November 2021, 9:00 AM, at the DOST-STII Office in Bicutan, Taguig City.
