A newly-built center inside the Department of Science and Technology-Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII) is now open and ready to accept nursing mother-employees who look for a stress-free environment within the office to enable them to work more efficiently.

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Fortunato T. de la Peña, participate as a speaker in the UNCTAD’s 68th Trade and Development Board Session on Technology and Innovation Report 2021 held on 23 June 2021.
UNCTAD recognizes the Philippines as one of the top overperformers worldwide, second only to India, in terms of frontier technologies readiness index. This is reflected in the Technology and Innovation Report 2021 published by the United Nations through UNCTAD.

Actual deployment and planting of coral fragments in coral nursery units (CNUs) with the support of local fisherfolks in Barangay Tungib-Lipata, Buenavista, Marinduque
To rejuvenate marine life in the waters off Marinduque, a province-wide coral restoration project was initiated by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) through the DOST-MIMAROPA regional office poised to help local fisherfolks secure their livelihood.
