The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), through its attached agency, DOST-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS), is ready to extend technical assistance to the Department of Education (DepED) in strengthening science-based preparedness and response in different schools in the country.

The Department of Science and Technology Ilocos Region (DOST Ilocos Region) formalized its partnership with the Philippine Information Agency Ilocos Region (PIA Ilocos Region) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will bring science, technology, and innovation closer to the public in time for the 2025 National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (NSTW)


De La Salle University (DLSU) marks another milestone as it officially launched its Innovation Hub— the first Knowledge, Innovation, Science, and Technology (KIST) Park Ecozone at the DLSU Laguna Campus.

This initiative in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), is the first of its kind to be led by a private Higher Education Institution (HEI).

With the goal to empower its local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region, Cagayan Valley featured ‘smart moves’ for MSMEs in this year’s celebration of the Regional Science, Technology and Innovation Week (RSTW) in Region 2.

Through the Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) flagship programs like Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP), MSMEs across the country have improved their operations, products and services through the assistance of DOST’s regional offices.
