The Philippines is set to take center stage in the global innovation ecosystem as it hosts the 1st International Conference and Exposition on Innovations (ICE on I), under the campaign banner “PHILIPPiNEXT” or “Philippines’ International Exposition of Technologies”.
Organized by the Department of Science and Technology – Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) in collaboration with the Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT), this event will be held from July 14 to 17, 2025, at the Okada Manila, Parañaque City.

A strategic leap forward: DOST officials led by Secretary Renato U. Solidum, Jr. and executives from the San Miguel Foods participates in a toast for the successful launch of the Enhanced Nutribun Premix on June 25, 2025 at the San Miguel Corporation headquarters at Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
After a year of development, the country may now be closer to curbing malnutrition by introducing a standardized formulation to a network of Nutribun “adopters” through a government-industry collaboration.

DOST exhibit to showcase innovative, modern uses of pandan

The Department of Science and Technology - Forest Products Research and Development Institute (DOST-FPRDI) is set to launch an exhibit that will celebrate the local art of pandan weaving, and showcase the versatility of pandan for high-value products.
Opening on July 1, 2025 at DOST-FPRDI’s Forest Products Innovation and Training Center (FPITC) in Los Banos, Laguna, the exhibit INTERCONNECT3D: Lalang Pandan will explore exciting new directions and design potential of pandan weaving in the Philippines.
