The Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) water filter technology, a ceramic filter with nano anti-microbial coating, is on display at the ongoing National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Developed by DOST’s Industrial Technology Development Institute, the filter, which is lodged in a plastic container, is made of red clay and coated with nano anti-microbial agent to eliminate waterborne microorganisms.
